Historic centre of Dudeldorf
Dudeldorf
Two town gates, the Upper Gate from 1453 and the Lower Gate built at about the same time, an 18th century castle converted into a palace, and old streets bear witness to the town's past strategic importance as a fortified town. Further historical sights in Dudeldorf are, among others, the former parsonage from 1759, the former fire engine house from 1900 at the driveway to the castle, the old brewery - today an inn - with a former parish garden, the market fountain from 1859 and the Johannes fountain with the figure of St. Nepomuk from the 18th century.
