The circular walk starts and ends at the barbecue hut in Hütterscheid (Hauptstraße). There are parking facilities there. After about 250 metres, you reach the Hütterscheid forest, where you pass a plague cross from 1666. There you will pass a plague cross from 1666. On the plateaus you can enjoy a beautiful view over Hütterscheid. The trail leads past the Moortalhütte.
