Probably everyone has reached the limits of their endurance during a bicycle tour, either because the headwind blows stronger than expected or because there are more inclines to overcome on the chosen route than expected. Such cases are a thing of the past thanks to the e-bike.

The e-bike is a bicycle that is powered by the pedals like conventional bicycles, but also has a rechargeable battery. The motor power only kicks in when you start pedalling.

With an e-bike, even inexperienced cyclists can conquer the striking slopes of the Eifel with ease. Cyclists with some stamina can extend their tours and reach heights with magnificent distant views almost effortlessly.

The battery charge is sufficient, depending on use, for about 70 - 90 km. After that, the battery must be connected to a regular power outlet.

The e-bikes may only be used on designated bike paths, paved paths or paths with a water-bound surface.
