Bow making course for children

In this workshop, children between the ages of six and twelve learn how to make their own bow from a prepared blank. Simple hand tools such as files, rasps and sandpaper are used. No special manual skills are required. Participants learn these during the building process.
Each child receives two arrows and a bowstring to go with their bow. The bows are tested at the end of the course. Instruction in correct and safe use is of course included.
