Christoph Soldan and the Silesian Chamber Soloists
This version of Vivaldi's 4 Seasons is guaranteed to be remembered!
Vivaldiana - a piano concerto that has it all. The music presented here by arranger Dariusz Zboch is like a journey through time. Rachmaninoff, a tango by Carlos Gardel, jazz, rock and classical music, all united in the melodies of Vivaldi. Music for everyone! Music for fans of classical, pop, jazz and rock alike. Performed by the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra Katowice under the direction of Christoph Soldan.
Leonard Bernstein said of him after a joint tour: "I am impressed by the spiritual greatness of this young musician". Soldan, who studied with Eliza Hansen and Christoph Eschenbach at the Hamburg Musikhochschule, has since performed worldwide with numerous renowned orchestras and as a soloist in some of the most important concert halls, such as the Gewandhaus Leipzig and the Berlin Philharmonie. His recording of all of Mozart's piano concertos on CD as well as radio and television productions at home and abroad document his artistic activity. Christoph Soldan is the artistic director of several concert series, such as the "Golden October Schwandorf". The Silesian Chamber Soloists quintet brings together the leaders of the Silesian Chamber Philharmonic from Katowice. It has undertaken numerous concert tours throughout Europe, performed with great success at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, MDR Musiksommer and Rheingau Music Festival, among others, and has worked with many outstanding conductors, soloists and orchestras.
