Monday Night Jazzkonzert
Mar 17, 2025
Bitburg
They come from far away, from the Allgäu, and are giving a special concert at the Bitburger Jazzclub. And the trio's line-up with a vibraphone alongside bass and drums is rather unusual. But that is exactly what the jazz initiative is always looking for and offering: Good music at a high level and unusual sound experiences.
The Florian King Trio fulfills this idea. Expectations have been raised. After many years as co-initiator of projects and as a sideman, the enterprising South German bassist Florian King is now presenting a new formation under his own name for the first time. He has a long musical friendship with David Soyza from Berlin on vibraphone and Christian Krischkowsky from Ulm on drums. Coming from different generations, both have made a name for themselves with their own projects. Three movers and shakers meet here. But it is not ego, but dedication and interaction that are emphasized. Mainly based on King's outstanding compositions, the result is airy, melodic, groovy contemporary jazz that gets under your skin.
Monday Night Jazz takes place on Monday, March 17, 2025, starting at 8 p.m. in the Jazz Ballroom at the Bowling Center Bitburg, Charles-Lindbergh-Allee 5.
